Keep Your Comfort Systems Running Smoothly, Season After Season
Regular maintenance is the secret to fewer breakdowns, lower energy bills, and systems that last years longer.
Let us be your island home and office comfort caretakers.
The Simple Way to Avoid Expensive Problems
Think of maintenance like changing the oil in your car. It's a small investment that prevents big problems down the road. Your home and office comfort systems work hard to keep you comfortable, and regular care keeps them running efficiently, reliably, and longer.
Here's what we've learned after 30 years: homes and offices with regular maintenance have far fewer emergency breakdowns, lower energy bills, and systems that last years longer than neglected ones. More importantly, you get peace of mind knowing your systems will be there when you need them most.
We're not just checking boxes on a list. When we maintain your systems, we're actively looking out for your long-term comfort and investment. Catching small issues before they become expensive repairs.
OUR APPROACH
Comprehensive Maintenance for All Your Home and Office Comfort Systems
01
Detailed System Inspection
We check every component: electrical connections, refrigerant levels (where applicable), airflow, controls, safety systems, and more. We're looking for anything that needs attention now or might need it soon.
02
Performance Testing & Adjustments
We measure your systems' performance to ensure they're operating at peak efficiency and delivering the comfort you expect. For complex issues, we can perform duct testing to identify efficiency losses. If anything needs calibration or fine-tuning, we take care of it during the visit.
03
Complete Documentation
After each visit, you'll receive a detailed report on all your systems' condition, what we did, and any recommendations for your review.
04
Expert Recommendations
If we spot something that needs attention, we'll explain what it is, why it matters, and what your options are. No pressure, just honest information so you can make informed decisions.
WHY IT MATTERS
What Regular Care Does for Your Systems
Regular maintenance isn't just about preventing breakdowns. It's about protecting your investment, keeping your family safe and comfortable, and saving money over the long run. Here's what our maintenance program does for you:
Prevents Unexpected Breakdowns
Most system failures don't happen without warning. There are usually small issues that build up over time. Regular maintenance catches these problems early, before they leave you without heat on a cold night or hot water on a busy morning.
Saves You Money
Well-maintained systems run more efficiently, using less energy to keep you comfortable. Many of our maintenance customers see their systems pay for the service through lower utility bills alone. Plus, you avoid costly emergency repairs.
Extends System Life
The difference between a heat pump that lasts 10 years and one that lasts 20 often comes down to maintenance. Same for furnaces, boilers, and water heaters. Regular care reduces wear and tear, keeping your equipment running longer.
Maintains Warranty Coverage
Many equipment warranties require proof of regular professional maintenance. Our program keeps you covered and documented.
Better Air Quality
Regular cleaning, filter changes, and ventilation system maintenance mean cleaner air for your family. Especially important if anyone has allergies or respiratory sensitivities.
Safety Assurance
We check safety controls, gas connections, venting, and combustion on your furnace, boiler, and gas fireplace. Peace of mind that your systems are operating safely.
Peace of Mind
Know that all your comfort systems are being cared for by professionals who understand them and are watching out for your wellbeing.

TESTIMONIALS
Experiences from Island Neighbors
We've had Vashon Heating and Cooling maintain the propane stove that's been our only heating source for 17 years. And we had them work on our previous house for years before that. Their technicians are always on time, skilled, and efficient.
Super service of new heat pump with air cleaner plus a new hot-water heater and expansion tank. Very thorough work to include application of rebates and registration of new equipment. I didn't have to do a thing. For all work that was done, price seemed reasonable. Extremely capable and knowledgeable, not to mention friendly people. I highly recommend Vashon Heating & Cooling.

FAQs
Common Questions About Our Maintenance Programs
How often do you visit?
Twice a year. Once before heating season (fall) and once before cooling season (spring). That timing ensures your systems are ready when you need them most.
Do you maintain all my systems in one visit?
We typically maintain heating systems in the fall and cooling systems in the spring. Water heaters, gas fireplaces, and air quality systems are checked during both visits. We'll create a schedule that makes sense for your specific equipment and schedule.
Do I need to be home?
We prefer that you're home, at least at the beginning or end of the visit, so we can communicate our findings and answer any questions. But we're flexible and can work with your schedule.
What if you find something that needs repair?
We'll explain what we found, why it matters, and what we recommend. There's never pressure. You decide what makes sense for your situation.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes, though we hope you won't want to! There's no long-term contract trap. We earn your membership by providing excellent service year after year.
What if I just had my system installed by you?
Perfect timing to start a maintenance program! New systems still need regular care to maintain warranty coverage and perform their best. Plus, we already know your systems intimately.
Do you service systems you didn't install?
Absolutely. We're happy to care for any system, regardless of who installed it. We service all major brands and types across all comfort systems.
What about my water heater and other systems?
Yes! Our comprehensive maintenance programs cover everything. Your furnace or heat pump, your water heater, your boiler, your gas fireplace, your ductwork, your ventilation systems. Complete home comfort care.
What happens if my system breaks down between maintenance visits?
Give us a call right away. As a maintenance member, you get priority scheduling, so we'll get to you faster than non-members. Plus, you'll receive discounted pricing on any repairs needed. We're here for you year-round, not just during scheduled visits.
Is a maintenance program really worth the cost?
Most of our customers find the program pays for itself. The energy savings from a well-maintained system typically cover a significant portion of the membership cost, and catching one small issue before it becomes a major repair can save you hundreds or even thousands of dollars. When you add in the extended equipment life, priority service, repair discounts, and peace of mind, the value becomes clear. We're happy to walk you through the numbers based on your specific systems during a quick phone call.
