Vashon Heating & Cooling is a locally owned heating and cooling company serving Vashon and Maury Island since 1994. When these terms say "we," "us," or "our," that's who we mean. When they say "you," that's anyone visiting or using our website.


Using our website


You're welcome to browse, learn, request a visit, and get in touch. We ask that you:


  • Give us accurate information when you fill out a form or send a message.
  • Use the site only for its intended purpose: learning about us and connecting with our team.
  • Respect other people, including our team and fellow customers.

We work hard to keep our website accurate and up to date, and we explain things the way we would at your kitchen table. Still, the information here is general. Every home, system, and set of conditions is different, especially with island moisture, salt air, and older construction in the mix.

Requesting a visit or booking online


When you submit a request through our website, by text, or by phone, you're asking for an appointment. It isn't confirmed until our team confirms it with you. Schedules on the island can shift with weather, staffing and the needs of other customers, and if we ever need to reschedule, we'll let you know as early as we can.


Our work at your home


Once you decide to move forward with service, installation, or a maintenance plan, we'll go over the details with you in an estimate or service agreement. Those details, including scope, pricing, payment, and warranty, are what apply to the work, not this page. If anything here seems to differ from your written estimate, your estimate wins.


Maintenance plans and online payments


If you join one of our Home Comfort Care Plans or pay online, the plan details and payment terms you agree to at sign-up apply. Payments are handled securely by our payment processor. We'll always be upfront about what you're signing up for and how to make changes.


Texts and emails


If you share your mobile number or email with us, we may use them to schedule and follow up on your service, and to send reminders if you've asked for them. You can opt out of marketing messages any time. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, and it's part of these terms.


What you share with us


When you send us a message, review, photo, or other content through the site, you're still the owner of it. By sending it, you give us permission to use it to respond to you and to run our business. If you submit a review or testimonial, you also give us permission to share it on our website and marketing, and we'll keep your name or initials the way you'd like. Please only share what you have the right to share.


Our content belongs to us


The words, photos, logos, graphics, videos, and design on this site belong to Vashon Heating & Cooling or are used with permission. From time to time we may update these Terms of Use. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. If you keep using the site after an update, that means you're okay with the new version.


Which laws apply


These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. If we can't sort out a disagreement together, it will be handled in the courts located in King County, Washington. We'd much rather talk it through first, so please call us.
